Corporate Governance

Greedy Grass is built on trust. Yard by yard. Neighbor by neighbor. We don’t just care for lawns—we care for the people, homes, and communities that surround them. Our governance framework translates that promise into action. It blends practical field experience, rigorous standards, and continuous oversight to protect our customers, our team, and our environment—today and over the long term.

Code of Business Conduct

Our Code of Conduct applies to every Greedy Grass team member—full-time, part-time, seasonal specialists, contractors, and board advisors. It guides how we work on your property, how we make decisions, and how we represent our brand in the community. Simple rule: do the right thing, even when no one is watching.

Anti-Bribery & Corruption

Zero tolerance. No bribes, kickbacks, or “favors” to win or retain business—ever. No employee or representative of Greedy Grass may offer, request, or accept anything of value intended to improperly influence a decision with customers, vendors, HOAs, or public officials. We keep accurate books and records and escalate any suspected misconduct immediately to [email protected].

Fair Competition

We win on service, safety, and reliability—not shortcuts. Greedy Grass does not participate in anti-competitive practices such as price-fixing, bid-rigging, or market allocation. We provide clear, written estimates and honor them. We compete vigorously and ethically, with full respect for laws and our customers’ right to choose.

Confidentiality

Homes are personal. So is your data. We safeguard addresses, gate codes, schedules, photos, and payment information using access controls, need-to-know permissions, and secure vendors. Confidential information is used solely for agreed services and never shared without proper authorization or legal requirement.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Data Governance: Privacy is part of our operating discipline. We maintain data inventories, role-based access, encryption-in-transit, and minimum retention practices. We conduct periodic reviews against applicable laws (e.g., state privacy laws such as CCPA/CPRA where applicable) and industry best practices, and we honor customer choices regarding communications and data use.
  • Whistleblower Protection: We maintain an anonymous reporting channel at [email protected] and via our secure form at https://greedygrass.com/contact-us/. Reports are reviewed promptly, investigated impartially, and protected by a strict non-retaliation policy.
  • Safety & Licensing: Field work demands care. We require job-specific training, PPE, equipment lockout/tagout practices, and safe driving standards. Pesticides and fertilizers are handled and applied only in accordance with labels and applicable laws, including state and local licensing where required.
  • Environmental Stewardship in Practice: We follow integrated lawn care principles—right product, right rate, right place, right time. Spreaders and sprayers are calibrated; weather and buffer zones near water are respected; and clippings and containers are disposed of responsibly.
  • Incident Response: If something goes wrong—property damage, product spill, or service concern—we act fast. Stabilize, notify, document, and remedy. We communicate transparently with customers and, when applicable, regulators. Lessons learned feed directly into training and process updates.
  • Third-Party Oversight: We assess key vendors for security, safety, and compliance alignment. Contracts include confidentiality, compliance, and termination-for-cause provisions. Performance is reviewed routinely.

Supply Chain Ethics

Greedy Grass expects every supplier, contractor, and partner to uphold our Supplier Code of Conduct. We choose relationships that strengthen safety, integrity, and sustainability across the residential lawn care ecosystem. At a minimum, suppliers must commit to:

  1. Fair labor practices, including lawful wages, working hours, and zero tolerance for forced or child labor.
  2. Safe working conditions with proper training, personal protective equipment, and hazard controls.
  3. Environmental stewardship—responsible sourcing, waste reduction, safe chemical handling, and compliant disposal.
  4. Business integrity—no bribery, fraud, or conflicts of interest; accurate records and audit cooperation.
  5. Data protection—secure handling of any customer or company information shared for service delivery.

We reserve the right to audit, require corrective action, or discontinue relationships that fail to meet these standards. To raise a supplier or ethics concern, contact [email protected] or use our secure form at https://greedygrass.com/contact-us/. Together, we keep our commitments healthy—like the lawns we care for.
